I think it’s really hard, especially nowadays with social media. It’s so easy for girls to be attacked from every angle, at school, in whatever sport they’re doing and online. It’s important to stand on your own two feet and know that nobody’s opinion matters except yours. I try not to read comments on R5’s social media pages. I pretend they’re not there, because their opinions are completely irrelevant to me. You have to practice ignoring those types of comments and realizing that they mean nothing.
