I’ve only owned one pair of vans in my life. I’m not too big of a fan. They’re just too clunky for me. I like lighters shoes, so I tend to go with converse instead. They do make lighters van now but I’ve never really owned a pair so I couldn’t say for sure if they’re any better.  I know that converse run about $30 at Target (or cheaper if they’re on sale) vs. $45-55 vans I’ve been seeing everywhere.
